Hi, I am struggling to get the above-mentioned onroad inventory processed as a nonpoint source. I followed the instructions given in the following posts as well, .[Onroad as nonpoint for CB6](https://forum.cmascenter.org/t/onroad-as-nonpoint-for-cb6/2427) , [Speciation conversion questions - #27 by eyth.alison](https://forum.cmascenter.org/t/speciation-conversion-questions/2527/27) etc. 1. error related to temporal files: I have used the following inputs along with the invtable\_MOVES2014\_27jun2017\_v4.txt MTPRO\_HOURLY mtpro\_hourly\_MOVES\_2014v2\_03nov2017\_v0 MTPRO\_MONTHLY mtpro\_monthly\_MOVES\_03aug2016\_v1 MTPRO\_WEEKLY mtpro\_weekly\_MOVES\_2014v2\_03nov2017\_v0 MTREF mtref\_onroad\_MOVES\_2014v2\_19sep2018\_nf\_v2 I receive the error given below. ![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex027/uploads/cmas/original/2X/d/d65522e7b4e56cf00add6cdf127745fc34b85fa8.png) Then I changed the monthly mtpro file to amptpro\_general\_2011platform\_tpro\_monthly\_6nov2014\_30nov2018\_nf\_v9 now this error appears: ![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex027/uploads/cmas/original/2X/0/02208c282c04e002b8b43b187fcebfde7722a3b2.png) I also changed the invtable to invtable\_MOVES2014\_custom\_speciation\_16nov2015\_v0.txt as well. still receive similar errors. 1. Speciation : I have tested the following combinations with the above-mentioned temporal files. GSREF and GSPRO:gspro\_MOVES2014\_CB6\_08aug2019\_nf\_v3.txt,gsref\_MOVES2014\_dummy\_nei\_2014v1\_platform\_17jan2017\_v0.txt & gsref\_onroad\_custom\_speciation\_MOVES3.txt, gspro\_nonroad\_cmaq\_cb6\_2016fh\_16j\_nf None of my efforts were successful. Can you please share with me a run script containing the list of files that can be used to process the 2016fh\_onroad\_SMOKE\_MOVES\_AQstyle inventory file? We suggest that you start over with this package, and follow the directions in README\_2016v2\_platform\_onroad\_as\_nonpoint\_CB6.txt (included in the zip): [https://gaftp.epa.gov/air/emismod/2016/v2/smoke\_2016v2\_platform\_onroad\_as\_nonpoint\_CB6\_07oct2021.zip](https://gaftp.epa.gov/air/emismod/2016/v2/smoke_2016v2_platform_onroad_as_nonpoint_CB6_07oct2021.zip) This package is for 2016fj (2016v2). You were using 2016fh (2016v1) but it would be easiest if you switched to 2016fj, at least for the onroad sector. ---

I managed to run the suggested version in smoke and now getting the error of missing surrogate 508. I updated the surrogatedb 2017 files, added 508 public schools. However, I am receiving empty surrogates. I bet it could be that my entries be incorrect. I added the followings in specification file: #SURROGATE REGION = USA #SURROGATE CODE = 508 #SURROGATE NAME = Public Schools #DATA SHAPEFILE = tl2019Counties\_LCC\_WRF #DATA ATTRIBUTE = geoid #WEIGHT SHAPEFILE = public\_schools\_2018\_2019 #WEIGHT ATTRIBUTE = TOTAL #WEIGHT FUNCTION = #FILTER FUNCTION = #MERGE FUNCTION = #SECONDARY SURROGATE = Population #TERTIARY SURROGATE = NLCD Land #QUARTERNARY SURROGATE = What would be the entries for the shapefile catalog for tlc2019Counties\_LCC\_WRF and public\_schools\_2018\_2019? Are you trying to use an aligned 4km or 12km grid or a different grid? If 12km or 4km, the surrogate should be available from the 2016v2 or 2017 platform surrogates… ---

I am using a domain that contains both Canada and the US. Hence, require to generate my own surrogates. ---
