Hello,

I’m trying to compile CMAQ-4.7.1 on Ubuntu. My compiler is gcc. Right now I’m stuck at compiling stenex. My log is attached. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Also a general question, I see scripts are written for intel or pgi. Does that mean that I will not be able to compile it all?

Thank you,[stenex.txt](https://forum.cmascenter.org/uploads/short-url/nVZOqA4Ow73GnEaAwKcyRo8oh2O.txt) (981.9 KB)

We recommend that you use the CMAQv5.3.2 and follow the tutorials available here:

Hello @lizadams. Thank you for your response. I need it for my research. I will be using CMAQ ADJOINT and that is based on this version. Thank you.

I would look at the gcc flags and library paths that are used in the config\_cmaq.csh for th e CMAQv5.3.2 version, and modify it for CMAQ-4.7.1. You can also take a look at the tutorials.

You can use the “stenex” which has been released with ADJ5. The makefile is written for gcc there.
