Hi all,

I am currently working on setting up a CMAQ v5.4 run for a 2020 episode over the eastern U.S., and I would really appreciate some guidance. I have experience running older CMAQ versions…, but this is my first time integrating updated emissions inventories (specifically 2020 NEI data) with the latest CMAQ release.

I have successfully compiled CMAQ and SMOKE.., but I am unclear on a few things:

Are there any known issues or configuration tips when using 2020 emissions with v5.4: ??

Is there a preferred speciation profile or mapping file when working with newer NEI datasets: ??

Can anyone share example run scripts or a GitHub resource with a similar setup: ??

I have checked the CMAS documentation and past forum threads like [https://forum.cmascenter.org/t/emission-files-prepared-for-](https://forum.cmascenter.org/t/emission-files-prepared-for-2020/4507)
[sap fico course in delhi](https://www.igmguru.com/erp-training/sap-fico-training-in-delhi).., but didn’t find answers to some of these specifics. Any help from those with experience in this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance !!

There is a sample run script provided in the 2020 S3 Bucket, as described in this dataverse entry for the 2020 S3 Bucket.
