Hi All,
I run WRF/Chem with NEI 2017 processed by SMOKE with the default setting. I downloaded everything from [https://gaftp.epa.gov/Air/emismod/2017/](https://gaftp.epa.gov/Air/emismod/2017/).
I found a discrepancy in the othar sector between files I generated with Premerged CMAQ-ready Emissions from 2017 v1 NEI [Emissions Modeling Platform](https://dataverse.unc.edu/dataset.xhtml?persistentId=doi:10.15139/S3/TCR6BB).

Will the following sentences in _2017gb\_package\_12jul2021\_info.txt_ explain the zero-emission in Mexico?

_"OTHAR: Area source emissions from Canada and Mexico, including mobile nonroad._
_As of 29 Jun 2020, Mexico area source inventories are not included. For now,_
_this sector only includes Canadian emissions."_

Thanks so much for any suggestions.

Best,
Phillip

We did not include the Mexico inventories in this package originally. The nonpoint, nonroad and point Mexico inventories are the same as those posted with our 2018 platform. The onroad emissions are different, although similar. We will post a package with these inventories and the correct onroad\_mex for 2017 soon – hopefully later this week.

We have posted zips that include the Mexico inventories and an updated “info” (README) file to here:

Specifically these files were updated / new:

2017emissions/2017gb\_inventory\_oth\_26jul2023.zip

smoke\_2017gb\_platform\_core\_26jul2023.zip

info\_2017gb\_package\_26jul2023.txt

Hopefully these will work for you.
