# Select species in CMAQ DDM3D

I encountered a similar issue as described in [DDM3D for selected species](https://forum.cmascenter.org/t/ddm3d-for-selected-species/3602) regarding DDM3D for selected species. I’m using CMAQv5.4. Has this problem been resolved? Thanks!

Please try running the code from 5.4+ branch of the repository. It includes many bug fixes including possibly your sittuation.

There are a few ways to get the 5.4+ branch.

To clone code from the CMAQ Git archive, specify the 5.4+ branch (i.e. version number) and issue the following command from within a working directory on your server:

```auto
git clone -b 5.4+ https://github.com/USEPA/CMAQ.git CMAQ_REPO

```
