Calculating PM2.5 in VERDI

Hi~

I am using VERDI to depict the CCTM output. I used the formula in SpecDef.txt to calculate the concentration of PM2.5. But I found the number of time steps in the PMDIAG file (from 01:00:00 to 00:00:00) is one hour less than the CONC file (from 00:00:00 to 00:00:00), and the formula cannot be added. I also tried to subset time step both in Datasets panel and Formulas panel, but it doesn’t work.

Anyone has met the problem and knows how to solve it? Thanks in advance!

Hi @xiaofen

Instead calculating PM2.5 concentration with VERDI, try to use the tool called COMBINE.
It is the best way to it, and the output is a netcdf I/OAPI file, which you can open in on VERDI later.

Look at this link where another researchers are talking about COMBINE.

Hi Rizzieri,

COMBINE works! Thank you!
