The Reg-Dev and Planning Program team at the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Air Pollution Control (APC) Division is actively seeking a motivated individual looking to enhance their project management and leadership skills. This individual will serve as a senior technical lead on planning and rulemaking projects and will lead or support the development of State Implementation Plans for the PM2.5 and Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards, the Oil and Gas Methane Rule, and the Power Plant Greenhouse Gas Rule.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for diversifying an individual’s skillset and growing their career, specifically offering the opportunity to learn how policies and rulemaking affects the technical work in the Division. This position will help the selected individual grow their professional network by working with external stakeholders, the APC board, internal TDEC-APC teams, local air programs, and EPA Region 4 contacts.
