Texas Air Quality Modeling Positions

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is seeking two experienced scientists/engineers to join its Air Modeling and Data Analysis (AMDA) section.

We’re looking for a candidate familiar with developing emission inventories, reviewing meteorological and/or photochemical modeling, and creating automated analysis products. We’re also looking for a strong technical candidate with project management skills to help coordinate photochemical modeling and research activities. The TCEQ photochemical modeling team conducts modeling activities for Texas nonattainment areas to support the Federal and Texas Clean Air Acts. We use state-of-the-science models, employ cutting edge modeling techniques, and interact with leaders in the air quality field. Our team members are nationally respected for their modeling expertise.

The position is located in Austin, Texas.
