Error running ptagfire beyond January

Hi Everyone,

I am running 2019 NEI re-dated to 1980 and can create the daily stack groups and inln files for January and February 1 that appear to be normal, i.e., a only a few ag fires in modelling domain (Northwest US) at various locations. However, from Feb 2 - Feb 28 the stack groups and inln are identical with one stack being created at the same location. The stack group and inln for Feb 29 are not created though I can see the script recognizes it should be creating these files. The script stops after this.

I have checked the one time and daily scripts and the start and stop times seem to be correct, as well as the smoke_dates files and holiday files but they all seem to be in order. Any suggestions on what else to try would be greatly appreciated.

Hi David,

I’m not sure it is related but a bug in mis-handling emission data in leaf-year in smkinven has been reported recently. We have developed a fix for this issue and will check it to SMOKE github shortly after doing some benchmark runs to check for performance and unwanted effect.

In the meantime, if you could provide me a package of your input files and run script setup that would be helpful for investigating what really happen here.
