I am trying to run MCIP (version 5.0 include CMAQ v5.3) for WRFv4.1 output, but have following error messages:

Can you help me figure it out how to solve this?
Thank you so much for your attention.

Dear @Nguyen_Dong,

I’ve gone through your mcip makefile. It’s not correct. Send me your email address, then I’ll send you a corrected one.

@Nguyen_Dong

The error in your log file is from your script. Please upload your MCIP script, if you are still having this problem.

Dir tlspero

My script run_mcip.csh (12.0 KB).

Please help me.
Thank very much.

@Nguyen_Dong

In the script that you attached, you made a minor error when you set the script variable “InMetFiles”. The original setting for “InMetFiles” has three lines, where they are all a single command that is linked with continuation markers. You commented out the first line, but you also need to comment out the second and third lines (which include the “subset_wrfout*” files).

@Catalyst2682

I am not the right person to answer that question. Sorry.

Dear @tlspero,

Thanks for your response. I’ll be so glad if you can direct me to the right person(s) in solving this error. It’s been really frustrating for more than two weeks.

Thanks and regards sir.

Catalyst

Thank tlspero

I was always very careful in this matter, not sure why I did that. (MCIP is already running)

I sincerely thank you.

Hy @tlspero ,

I’m having a similar issue. After I run mcip I get the following error:

START TIME: 20200522
2020-05-22 2020-06-30 200522
Compiler is set to gcc
Too many ('s.
ERROR, file on 20200522 not produced

Can you please check my mcip script and let me know where did I do wrong?

run_mcip_43.csh.txt (22.6 KB)

Thanks
