I’m sorry. I gave you the wrong routine. It should be chkwrfhdr.f90 (not setgriddefs.f90). I had them both open, and I mistakenly entered the wrong routine. The line numbers are correct. I’m very sorry for the mixup.

Thank you for clarifying. I commented the following lines in the chkwrfhdr.f90 file and the issue isn’t resolved yet. Is there other lines that need to be commented as well. Thanks again and really appreciate your help.
It is still the same error. I removed all the temporary files and stuff. Then re-ran the script. Still receiving the error in chkwrfhdr.

Did you recompile MCIP?
ohhh no. my bad. After recompiling the mcip, it worked!!!
