2018 CMAQ User Survey

In 2016 CMAS and EPA conducted a survey of the CMAQ user community. The survey results and EPA’s response can be found on the CMAQ website (https://www.epa.gov/cmaq/cmaq-community-survey-results). CMAS and EPA found the survey results very valuable. With a new model version, CMAQv5.3, planned for Spring 2018, we would like to hear from the CMAQ user community again.

Survey Objectives

The goal of this survey is three-fold:

(1) Have enough information about who our community is and what they are using/wanting so that we can make informed decisions about what features they would like to see maintained in the code.

(2) Identify specific developers that can help us with new model developments.

(3) Identify current deficiencies or emerging science issues that should be prioritized for development.

Survey Format

We have left many questions open-ended in hopes that users will share their specific needs and recommendations. We appreciate your time and will consider the results very carefully.

Deadline to complete the survey: November 30, 2018

This is the final week for the 2018 CMAQ User Survey. If you have not already, please take a moment to share your thoughts with CMAS and the CMAQ Team on various science features, tools and future developments.
