Calculation of particle bound water total mass frpm cmaq results

Hello,

I am wondering if the following formula is correct to extract particle bound water from CMAQ CB6-AE7 results:

PBW = AH2OI + AH2OJ + AH2OK + AORGH2OJ

The species you list do represent condensed water in particles (summation of Aitken, accumulation, and coarse modes). The water is in equilibrium with ambient conditions. Whether or not this meets your needs depends on what “particle bound” means. The water indicated in the formula would at least partially evaporate if the particles it was associated with were exposed to lower relative humidity, such as during a gravimetric mass measurement.
