EQUATES project E2C_LU beld4 files

Hello,

I am running CMAQ5.5 and I had a clarifying question about the E2C_LU input files from the EQUATES Project. As I was looking through the static emission files package, I noticed that beld4 files are only available for the years 2001, 2006, and 2011 rather than each individual year. When selecting which file to use as the E2C_LU input, should the user simply select the file from the year that matches most closely (for example, using the 2006 beld4 file for a 2005 simulation)? Or are there more annual beld4 files available elsewhere? Thanks!

this is another great clarification question.

These three beld4 files are the only ones available for the EQUATES project. For the EQUATES CMAQ simulations performed by our group, the 2001 file was used for 2002 - 2004, the 2006 file was used for 2005 - 2008, and the 2011 file was used from 2009 onwards.
