Hi All, I used CMAQv5.4.03 to simulate O3, MECH is cb6r5_ae7_aq. The simulate O3 was low and near 0 ppb at night. Meantime, NO concentraion was 10 times higher than NO2 concentration.Does anyone know about the reason for this?
I would say this phenomenon is reasonable and common since the NO titration effects at night, which consumes ozone and generates NO2. You can also find a similar pattern in many literatures.
