When running WRF for eventually proving meteorological input to CMAQ, what is the recommended practice for preparing the VEG and LAI parameters in WRF (pre 4.0 version). I saw this setting in the namelist.wps file being talked about in another post:
geog_data_res = ‘nlcd2011_9s+9s+greenfrac_fpar_modis+lai_modis_10m’
How would above differ from just setting
geog_data_res = ‘nlcd2011_9s'
