Hi all,
I am trying to extract 2014fd emissions for each sectors for certain areas, I will use annual emissions files in ftp://newftp.epa.gov/air/emismod/2014/v2/2014fd/reports/annual_gridded/.
I just wonder, is there any corresponding GRIDCRO2D file I can download? so I can use the center coordinate in each gird and select the grids I need.
Thank you
If you have a GRIDDESC file (or a gridded conc or emissions file) to give you the grid description, you can use M3TOOLS program latlon to find the coordinates for the cell-center lat-lon coordinates.
See https://www.cmascenter.org/ioapi/documentation/all_versions/html/LATLON.html
Carlie,
Thanks, I will try this m3tools function.
Joey
If that doesn’t work, I think you can use another GRIDCRO2D file for the same grid and a different platform. Let us know if you can’t get it working.
Carlie,
This works, thank you so much.
Alison,
We tested 12 km 2014fd for North Carolina, but the resolution is too rough for our target areas, just wonder is there any 4km data for 2014 gridded annual emissions available for southeastern region of US?
Cheers,
Joey Huang
Hi, We provided spatial surrogates at 4km but haven’t done any 4km modeling in that region that would make us have 4km emissions in that region, but I will double check to confirm.
