I want to implement a new particle deposition scheme into the CMAQ model. However, I have no clues about the current treatment of dry and wet deposition schemes in the CMAQ model. Could anyone guide me to the original publications for the deposition scheme adopted by CMAQ?

The sections on Dry Deposition/Air-surface exchange and Aqueous Chemistry, Scavenging and Wet Deposition in the User’s Guide are a good starting point to learn more about the CMAQ dry and wet deposition schemes. They include references to some of the original publications.
