It cannot read the GRIDDESC with this error.
But it is working in CMAQv52 bcon.
The error message tells you that the program cannot find the required input file ‘MET_BDY_3D_FIN’. Did you set that environmental variable in your run script, pointing to a MCIP METBDY3D file for your fine domain?
You mention that BCON worked for you in CMAQv5.2. When trying to run the BCON code released with CMAQv533, it is important that you start with the CMAQv533 BCON run script rather than trying to use older run scripts since several environment variables in the BCON run script changed between CMAQv5.2 and CMAQv5.3. Please see the BCON README file for further documentation of the current version of BCON.
While it shouldn’t cause any problem, your screenshot shows that you are defining environment variable LAYER_FILE in your CMAQv5.3.3 BCON run script. This variable is not used in CMAQv5.3.3 BCON and does not appear in our v533 run scripts. It was used in CMAQv5.2 BCON, so it seems your run script is still a mix of both versions. This might not solve the problem, but please start with a clean version of the CMAQv5.3.3 BCON run script and then adapt it for your case.
If this fails, please post your entire run script and log file, not only screenshots.
