Disabling Plume Rise for Fire Sources from EQUATES in CMAQ 5.5

Hello Everyone,

I want to run CMAQ 5.5 with EQUATES dataset. For this particular simulation that I am doing, I need to disable plumerise for all the fire sources. I was thinking about turning all the HFLUX values in the fire inline files to ZERO to do that. But I am not sure if that is going to work or cause runtime issues. Does anyone know if this method would work or if there is another way to do such thing?

Amir,

The HFLUX value is in BTU and usually very large even for a small. Setting it to a nominal value (1 or even 1000) should functionally disable plumerise.

I will set it to a small value rather than turning it to zero.
