Does CCTM process emissions from SMOKE output?

Hello again:
I need help from you because I´m trying to make modeling in a hemispheric domain. I made several tests and I obtained different results. It is known that the initial and boundary conditions make an influence on the results, but in my case, I observed it too much.
I tried making changes in emissions (5000 times higher) and observed the same results.

I focus on PEC emission and AECJ and AECI species from CCTM. I saw this warning message

—>> WARNING in subroutine GET_AERO_EMIS on PE 015
Could not read PEC from EMIS_1
M3WARN: DTBUF 0:02:30 Jan. 1, 2014 (2014001:000230)
Bad argument LAY1= 49

Could you please let me know how can I see if CCTM process the emission file generated in SMOKE.

Hello Ernesto,

Judging from this error message, your EC emissions were not processed successfully by the CCTM because the number of layers in the model and emission file likely did not match.

Regarding diagnostics for determining how the CCTM reads the emissions, we have installed several features for CMAQv5.3 to handle this, but these are not available in CMAQv5.2.1 and before.

Best regards,
Ben
