Error in compiling glibc-2.14

Hi all,
When I run the nctox test case in SMOKE, I get an error:/disk1/scl/SMOKEv481/subsys/smoke/Linux2 x86 64ifort/smkinven: /lib64/libc.so.6:Version’GLIBC 2.14’not found.

So I am trying to install version 2.14 of glibc.
I used the following command:

But the following error occurred:
checking for .preinit_array/.init_array/.fini_array support… no
configure: error: Need linker with .init_array/.fini_array support

how can I solve this problem? Please help me, thank you!

This probably means you need to build everything yourself. It’s not that hard… start with netCDF and the I/O API: see https://cjcoats.github.io/ioapi/AVAIL.html
