Fire emissions for the NEI Modeling Platform 2023

Hello,

I have a question regarding the “the NEI Modeling Platform 2023”

Would the fire emissions FF10 files for the year 2023 be released as part of the the NEI Modeling Platform 2023? I have seen that the subsequent year (2024) was already released.

Hi, we anticipate releasing the 2023 NEI sometime next week. I expect the full 2023 NEI modeling platform to follow suit a few weeks after, including CMAQ-ready files via AWS. However, I can make sure the 2023 fires ff10 files get posted similarly to the 2024 fires in tandem with the 2023 NEI release, if you’d prefer them sooner.

Hi Mark, I just posted the US, Canada, and Mexico ff10 fire (wild, Rx, and ag) files for our 2023 platform here:

I expect the rest of the platform to be posted in the next few weeks.
