New subset mcip input data for the MCIPv4.5 benchmark case

Running the example data and run_mcip.csh generated the following error when running mcipv4.5 using the subset_wrfout_d01_2011-07-01_00:00:00 file provided with the CMAQv5.3 single day benchmark case.

Error running mcip

The BENCHMARK wrf input data was provided as input data did not have the SNOWH variable that is required for MCIPv4.5. This data is now available on the google drive under the following link:

Hello @lizadams @cjcoats @bbaek
Having downloaded and made used of the above data, I still got the error below:

Error running mcip

Kindly help me out.

Thanks

@Catalyst2682 – The benchmark case is not set up to run with the potential vorticity scaling option. The WRF data that were provided only contain the fields required for MCIP. The missing variable, “F” (Coriolis force), is only needed when potential vorticity scaling as used.

In your MCIP script, please set LPV=0 (rather than 1), and try again.

Thanks a lot, @tlspero. When I made your suggested change, it ran successfully.
