One method is to use m3tshift to shift the date of your initial condition file from 2017.12.22 to 2018.07.01.
For ICON, the approach my group used is to find the appropriate CGRID file from CMAS Data Warehouse EQUATES collections on Google Drive and run map2mech (in PREP/bcon) for CB6 to CRACMM species mapping.
