Smkinven appears not import particular inventory record

Hello all,

I got stuck with this problem for 48+ hours, and i hope somebody can help me out. I am not very proficient SMOKE user, so i may be doing something stupid. Also, please let me know if I need more information.

I am using ff10 format point source file, and i found that in my processing, one point source is not processed. I see that in inventory but not in the model ready file.

I looked at intermediate files psrc_ptnonipm, pnts_ptnonipm.ncf, and data for my species of interest (see snippet of my PNTS file I got below) . That particular point source did not show up in this set of data. No mention of the particular facility in psrc_ptnonipm.txt file.

I am wondering if there is log file telling which record got dropped for what reason?

In case this helps, i am reprocessing NEI platform in different spatial extent/resolution. I subset input inventory by FIPS code. I prepared all the GRIDESC record, spatial surrogate etc. And i realized this issue while I QA my work.

my PNTS file

Point
/IOAPI/ pnts_ptnonipm.ncf
/TEXT/ psrc_ptnonipm.txt
/NDAT/ 67
/DATMAP/
LEAD pnts_ptnonipm_dat/LEAD.ncf
ARSENIC pnts_ptnonipm_dat/ARSENIC.ncf
BERYLLIUM pnts_ptnonipm_dat/BERYLLIUM.ncf

Hello, did you first check the smkinven.point.rog under data//static/logs? We suggest checking all the logs inside.

@MMengxin I apologize and am ashamed for my post. With closer inspection, I was comparing inventory file. So the record i was looking for was not fed to smkinven at all…

But thank you for your advice for looking at intermed/logs file, found lines like below. I figured this mentions that pollcode in the inventory is not the one to be processed? And line 20 is talking about line # disregarding comment and header part of FF10 format file? I wasn’t able to move too far from this message when I was looking at it yeasterday.

WARNING: No kept pollutants found at line 20 . The source will be dropped.

In any case, my issue is resolved.

Is it in your grid? Did you noticed this after Smkinven/ Can you upload your log file?

Is your case based on any EPA cases or totally independent data?
