The Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) is seeking a scientist to join our air quality modeling team. DAQ uses software such as CAMx, WRF, and SMOKE to conduct modeled attainment demonstrations for State Implementation Plan (SIP) development. Our team utilizes Python and R to process data and conduct data analysis/visualization. Additionally, DAQ regularly collaborates with academic and federal scientists to conduct air quality research in the State. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in emissions, meteorological transport, and atmospheric chemistry.
