The Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) is seeking an air quality modeler to join our team. DAQ uses software such as CAMx, WRF, and SMOKE to conduct modeled attainment demonstrations for State Implementation Plan (SIP) development. In addition, our team utilizes Python and R to process data and conduct data analysis/visualization. There are also opportunities to learn more about and get involved in regional air quality research. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in precursor pollutant emissions, meteorological transport, and atmospheric chemistry.
