2016fh onroad SMOKE_MOVES AQstyle (CB06) processing

Hi,

I am struggling to get the above-mentioned onroad inventory processed as a nonpoint source. I followed the instructions given in the following posts as well, .Onroad as nonpoint for CB6 , Speciation conversion questions - #27 by eyth.alison etc.

  1. error related to temporal files: I have used the following inputs along with the invtable_MOVES2014_27jun2017_v4.txt
    MTPRO_HOURLY mtpro_hourly_MOVES_2014v2_03nov2017_v0
    MTPRO_MONTHLY mtpro_monthly_MOVES_03aug2016_v1
    MTPRO_WEEKLY mtpro_weekly_MOVES_2014v2_03nov2017_v0
    MTREF mtref_onroad_MOVES_2014v2_19sep2018_nf_v2

I receive the error given below.

Then I changed the monthly mtpro file to amptpro_general_2011platform_tpro_monthly_6nov2014_30nov2018_nf_v9

now this error appears:

I also changed the invtable to invtable_MOVES2014_custom_speciation_16nov2015_v0.txt as well. still receive similar errors.

  1. Speciation : I have tested the following combinations with the above-mentioned temporal files.
    GSREF and GSPRO:gspro_MOVES2014_CB6_08aug2019_nf_v3.txt,gsref_MOVES2014_dummy_nei_2014v1_platform_17jan2017_v0.txt
    & gsref_onroad_custom_speciation_MOVES3.txt, gspro_nonroad_cmaq_cb6_2016fh_16j_nf

None of my efforts were successful. Can you please share with me a run script containing the list of files that can be used to process the 2016fh_onroad_SMOKE_MOVES_AQstyle inventory file?

We suggest that you start over with this package, and follow the directions in README_2016v2_platform_onroad_as_nonpoint_CB6.txt (included in the zip):

This package is for 2016fj (2016v2). You were using 2016fh (2016v1) but it would be easiest if you switched to 2016fj, at least for the onroad sector.

I managed to run the suggested version in smoke and now getting the error of missing surrogate 508.

I updated the surrogatedb 2017 files, added 508 public schools. However, I am receiving empty surrogates. I bet it could be that my entries be incorrect.

I added the followings in specification file:
#SURROGATE REGION = USA

#SURROGATE CODE = 508

#SURROGATE NAME = Public Schools

#DATA SHAPEFILE = tl2019Counties_LCC_WRF

#DATA ATTRIBUTE = geoid

#WEIGHT SHAPEFILE = public_schools_2018_2019

#WEIGHT ATTRIBUTE = TOTAL

#WEIGHT FUNCTION =

#FILTER FUNCTION =

#MERGE FUNCTION =

#SECONDARY SURROGATE = Population

What would be the entries for the shapefile catalog for tlc2019Counties_LCC_WRF and public_schools_2018_2019?

Are you trying to use an aligned 4km or 12km grid or a different grid? If 12km or 4km, the surrogate should be available from the 2016v2 or 2017 platform surrogates…

I am using a domain that contains both Canada and the US. Hence, require to generate my own surrogates.

If you are still having issues it would be helpful to see the grid you used and the surrogate tool log file (automatically written under LOGS).
